18 winners from 13 clubs
Partille Cup 2010 is over. 18 teams has received Partille Cup’s trophy – The Golden Hand.
The 18 winners represent 13 clubs from six different nations. It was many Scandinavian victories with 10 Swedish, 2 Norwegian and 2 Danish champion teams, and also for the first time in Partille Cup a champion team from the Faroe Islands. Egypt got two victories and Germany won one final.
India, Nigeria and France also had teams in the finals. The French club Selestat Alsace had two teams in the finals but both of them lost their games.
It was 27 clubs in total among the 36 finalist teams.
Four clubs won more than one victory in this year’s Partille Cup finals.
The most successful club was the Swedish club Lugi HF, which won three finals. IK Sävehof and Kärra HF, also from Sweden, won two victories each. The Danish club Skanderborg HB could also go home with two victories.
3,681 games has been played during the week, and not less than 85 257 goal have been scored during the tournament. Will the tournament grow so much bigger during the next couple years that we might be able to score over 100,000?
