Albrechtson was celebrated during the successful Leaders Party
Gunnar Quist founded Partille Cup 50 years ago.
Stefan Albrechtson has worked for Partille Cup for 40 of these years. He received an honorary award for his long service during this year’s Leaders party.
At the start of the crowded Leaders party in Scandinavium yesterday, the general secretary Fredrik Andersson grabbed the microphone. He began by thanking everyone who made the Leaders party and the entire Partille Cup possible. Then he told the very loyal employee Stefan Albrechtson, who is the club director of IK Sävehof, to go to the stage. “Abbe”, which he is called, received an honorary award for his long service and the incredible work he has done to help the Partille Cup make progress and develop into becoming the world’s largest handball tournament.
– No one has completed more working hours for Partille Cup than Stefan Albrechtson, said Fredrik Andersson.
“Abbe” was moved when he got the prize and was praised with many applause in Scandinavium. Fredrik Andersson also ensured that everyone sang “Happy birthday” for Stefan Albrechtson, who turns 60 in a few weeks.
– I feel like a teenager, he said.
Then the party went on. The artists played until after 23.00 and the atmosphere among the leaders, referees, ambassadors, Partille Cup’s all employees and other guests was on top. Once again, the Leaders party became a successful evening filled with laughs and happiness.
