Culture Festival

This summer it is premiere for Partille Cups new initiative, the Culture Festival. We will build a stage at Heden open for all forms of performances. A colorful venue for participants, leaders, audience, visitors and citizens of Gothenburg where we highlight experiences, different cultures and ways of life. The festival will be characterized by happiness, creativity and curiosity.

Partille Cup is visited by about 50 nations annually and the participants wish to take part of other cultures is just as big as showing their own. For a long time, we didn't have the place where space could be given to showcase different cultural heritage. Until now when Heden will transform into a magical festival for everyone to visit!

The atmosphere at Heden will be fantastic! Everything will be gathered at the same place at Heden Center. As a visitor you can eat enchiladas, hot noodle soup or hamburgers at the same time as you're watching the shows on stage. Have an ice cream in the sunshine, try one of many events presented by our partners, pearl your own bracelets at Handball Aid or take a seat at Heden Arena to see some fast-paced handball matches.

At Heden they will give you magnificent shows and hold workshops where you can try to dance both old classics and fast-paced Bolivian dances. You can try creating music with VR and write poetry in the festival tent. At Heden you'll meet a world of cultures open for you and your friends to explore!

Except dance schools and musicians from Gothenburg we want you and your teammates to show dancing and music on stage, maybe sell bracelets or art in the Culture Festival tent or teach other teams how to do what's typical for your culture.

If you and your teammates want to perform, sell something you have made or have a workshop, please contact Hanna Tedbrant for more information at [email protected]
