Skanderborg’s going for third in a row

Skanderborg från Denmark has been unstoppable in Partille Cup in the recent years. Their B16 team has won the tournament for two consecutive years. Skanderborg wants to extend the winning streak.
– I hope that we win for the third year in a row, says Magnus Vejsgaard, number ten in Skanderborg.

The left-handed right back and his teammates have had great success in Gothenburg. They have won the B14 and B15 classes and now they are undefeated in their group in the B16 class after two days of playing. The big question is of course if they will go all the way and lift the trophy this year too.
– It will be tough because there are many good teams in the tournament, but I think that we have good chances to make it, says Magnus Vejsgaard with a smile.

The green dressed team enjoys every second in Gothenburg.
– The best thing with Partille Cup is the party atmosphere! It is so many people here, says 16-year-old from Jutland.
Why Skanderborg is such a winning machine in the Partille Cup? Magnus Vejsgaard answers humbly:
– Because we have a really good team with good players and good coaches, he says.
