They won Consat Trophy
Consat Trophy is awarded the boys and girls team that has conceded the fewest number of goals per game in the group stage of Partille Cup. Now this year’s winners have been praised.
SC DHfK Leipzig from Germany was the most defensively strong team of all boys teams in the tournament. The B13 team only conceded 22 goals in five games, giving an average of 4,4 goals conceded per game. At the same time, they scored a total of 107 goals and won all the matches in the group stage.
Strandby-Elling IF from Denmark had the best defense of all of the girls teams and really deserved to win the Consat Trophy. The G11 team only conceded 18 goals in five games. It gives them an impressive average of 3,6 conceded goals per game. They scored 84 goals and won, just like the germans, all matches in the group stage.
Every player in the winning teams of the Consat Trophy won a Lenovo tablet. Happy winners received the prizes by Johanna Bundsen, goalkeeper for Sweden’s national team, on the stage at Heden Center.
SC DHfK Leipzig’s successful goalkeeper Daniel Guretzky was one of the proud players who received the prize.
– It feels amazing! It is an honor to win the Consat Trophy. We have played very well in the tournament. The reason we have conceded so few goals is that we constantly help each other. Nobody is alone, says Daniel Guretzky.
