This year’s elite groups have now been finalized. In the B16, G16, B18, and G18 categories, some of the world’s top youth teams will come together to test their skills in matches at the very highest level. The elite groups were introduced in 2025 and quickly became a popular feature of the tournament. The concept brings together several of the strongest youth academies in the Nordic region and Europe, raising the competitive level right from the start.
–The elite groups are a showcase for international youth handball. Here, the teams face strong international competition right away, while the audience is treated to some of the tournament’s most exciting matches, says Martin Laanemets, competition director for the Partille World Cup.

The goal is to create compelling matches even during the group stage and to make the arena a natural gathering place for everyone who wants to experience handball at the highest youth level.

All teams in the elite groups will also advance to the A playoffs, providing more opportunities for exciting matchups between the tournament’s strongest teams throughout the week.
