The best teams deserve the toughest matches from the start.
The Elite Groups bring together some of the strongest teams in the tournament, giving them the opportunity to face high-level opposition already during the group stage. At the same time, the format helps all teams in the tournament find the right level more quickly through the play-offs.

Partille World Cup is committed to providing meaningful and competitive matches for every team.
In the past, some of the tournament’s strongest teams faced significantly weaker opposition in the opening matches. The introduction of the Elite Groups creates more balanced, high-quality games from day one, giving top teams the challenge they deserve while helping all teams find the right competitive level earlier in the tournament.
Part of a New Competition Format
The Elite Groups were introduced as Partille World Cup also launched C play-offs in the 10–15 age categories.
The purpose behind the changes is the same: to allow more teams to face evenly matched opposition and play meaningful games throughout the entire week.
