Fun facts

International
Brazil became the first non-European team to participate in the tournament in 1976. The team went under the name ESAB and participated in the junior class. In the same year, the first teams from Eastern Europe participated with teams from Poland and Zagreb from the former Yugoslavia.
Referees
325 referees from 32 different nations joins the crew during the tournament to bring fair play and judge the matches. 
Girl teams since 1970
The girls' team has always had a large representation in the tournament. In recent years, they have been in a majority. The girls' team Ching-Hising from Taiwan and Korea's National Team will be the first non-European teams to succeed in winning the Partille Cup in 1983.
Meatballs
The most popular meal at the schools is meatballs with mashed potatoes. In total, around 200.000 meatballs are served.
