All matches at Partille World Cup to be live streamed in 2026

Following record-breaking interest in this year's edition, the Partille World Cup will livestream all matches next year. This means that handball fans around the world will be able to follow every game in real time—regardless of where they are. – There is enormous potential here, says John Kihlström, head of livestreaming.

In total, more than 3,700 matches were broadcast live during this year’s Partille World Cup. With teams from 35 countries across all continents, many are unable to travel to Gothenburg to watch the games in person. But this year, friends, family, and handball enthusiasts could watch the majority of the roughly 4,300 matches from anywhere in the world.
With nearly 400,000 views, the livestreamed matches were a huge success.
– This enhances the tournament, and no matter where you are in the world, you can experience the fantastic handball being played during Partille World Cup, says Fredrik Andersson, Secretary General of the Partille World Cup.

Following the success, Partille World Cup is taking it a step further and next year, every match will be livestreamed. The broadcasts are powered by AI cameras from Spiideo.
– We’ve been developing our streaming since 2022. The quality keeps improving, and with today’s technological advances, there is great potential to spread youth handball across the globe, says John Kihlström, head of livestreaming.
