Golden Goal Thriller in the B11 Final

It was a real thriller when H71 1 from the Faroe Islands and Herning FH 1 from Denmark met in the B11 category. After a match where both teams gave everything, it took a golden goal to separate them. – We gave it all, but it was so close, both teams could have won, says Nor Witt Kempel.

Two enthusiastic groups of supporters filled the stands at Heden with songs and cheers. The atmosphere was electric from the very first minute.

The match started evenly with good play from both sides. Both teams showed strong defending and great teamwork. It was a very close game all the way through, and in the end, it had to be decided by a golden goal.

– It was a really tough game. We gave everything, but it was so close – both teams could have won. I feel sorry for the other team, they probably really wanted to win too, says Nor Witt Kempel.

In the second half, the match stayed even. Neither team controlled the game, but both created chances. The goalkeepers were really good and made several important saves to keep the match close all the way through.

When regular time ended, the score was 3–3. In extra time – played as golden goal – Herning FH 1 scored with a long shot. Players and supporters celebrated with full force after the dramatic finish.
