H10's B16 team from Brazil made their debut in the Partille World Cup
The players from the Brazilian team discovered a completely new handball culture.
For the Brazilian H10 B16 team, Partille World Cup 2024 was their first time participating in the tournament.
– It's a wonderful place, and it was really exciting to be here and play, says Antonio Martini Vieira, a player for H10's B16 team.
In 2024, Brazil was the nation with the sixth most participating teams, with a total of 25 teams. H10 from Brazil had four teams participating.
– The journey was long. Our flight went to Denmark, and from there we took a bus to Gothenburg. It was nice to finally arrive, says Antonio.
For the boys in H10's B16 team, it was their first time playing in the tournament.
– It was an incredibly exciting experience. Partille World Cup is a tournament that our team has wanted to participate in for a long time, so it was fantastic to finally be here, he says.
The week in Gothenburg was educational and filled with matches for H10, who enjoyed the experience.
– It has been a fantastic week. Being able to play matches in the tournament and face teams from other countries is something I will remember for a long time, he says.
During the week, they took the opportunity to discover new cultures.
– We visited a large handball arena to see how handball works here in Sweden. Additionally, we played a friendly match against a Portuguese team to make new friends and memories, says Antonio Martini Vieira.
