Partille World Cup
At the centre of the buzz of Partille World Cup
Heden Center is the heart of Partille World Cup, where the atmosphere in Gothenburg is at its best. Players, spectators and family members fill the area from morning to evening – It’s really fun to be here between matches, says Maja Lindälv.
Heden Center is full of life as players, coaches and supporters gather to take part in activities, eat and socialise. There are partner events, food stands and meeting areas, making it a natural meeting point throughout the whole tournament.
For Maja Lindälv and Elsa Orwallius, who both play for Redbergslids IK, Heden Center has become an obvious place to spend time between matches.
– Yes, we’ve done loads of things here. Today and yesterday. I won yesterday and today, so she got my gym bag, says Maja Lindälv.
When the day’s matches are finished, many participants choose to stay in the area.
– It’s really fun to be here between matches. We’ve finished playing today, but it’s nice to stay, hang out and watch, says Elsa Orwallius.
Heden Center also becomes a meeting place for players from different teams during the tournament week.
– We play for Redbergslids IK but in different teams, so now we can hang out together here when we’re not playing, says Elsa Orwallius.
Tomorrow brings another day at Heden Center with new matches, new encounters and more activities to try.
