Partille World Cup
Here Are This Year’s Elite Groups in Partille World Cup
This year’s elite groups in Partille World Cup have been confirmed and will bring together some of the world’s top youth teams. – The elite groups allow us to create high-quality matches from day one. That is exactly the kind of handball we want to offer both players and spectators, says Martin Laanemets, competition manager, Partille World Cup.
The groups are now finalised. In the B16, G16, B18 and G18 categories, some of the world’s leading youth teams will compete against each other in matches of the highest standard. The elite groups were introduced in 2025 and quickly became a popular part of the tournament. The concept brings together some of the strongest youth academies in the Nordic region and Europe, raising the level of competition from the very start.
– The elite groups are a showcase for international youth handball. Teams face strong international opposition straight away, while spectators can enjoy some of the most exciting matches of the tournament, says Martin Laanemets.
The aim is to create attractive and competitive matches already in the group stage and make the arena a natural meeting place for everyone who wants to experience youth handball at the highest level.
All teams in the elite groups will also continue to the A Play-offs, creating even more opportunities for exciting matches between some of the tournament’s strongest teams throughout the week.
