Narrow Opening Loss – Sävehof Aims for Revenge

Para handball is underway, with the premiere presenting an immediate close contest between Sävehof and HK Aranäs. - It's fun to play handball, it was close, it's a shame we lost, says Alexander Pettersson.

The parahandball is part of the Partille World Cup and is aimed at handball players with intellectual disabilities.

For Alexander Pettersson and IK Sävehof, it was a tough start to the tournament as they faced HK Aranäs in the premiere. The match was close until the end and concluded with a narrow loss for IK Sävehof. Despite the result, the joy of being on the handball court was evident in Alexander Pettersson.

– It's fun to play handball, it was close, it's a pity that we lost, he says.

The opening loss has not dampened their competitive spirit. Already now, the focus is directed towards the next match, where Sävehof hopes to elevate their game further and secure their first points in the tournament.

– Now we will take revenge in the next match and win the match after that as well. If we just cooperate and play better, we will win, says Alexander Pettersson.
