Three quick goals as Täby turned it around and won
Swedish team Täby Handboll grabbed the gold in the B12 final after a tough goal-for-goal battle against Croatian side RK Zagreb. – It’s a really big thing to experience this together with my team, says match MVP Vilgot Carrick.

The B12 final at Heden was a close and exciting game from the very start, as Croatian team RK Zagreb faced Swedish side Täby Handboll. The teams took turns scoring, and neither could pull ahead. Both defences had to work hard as the match went back and forth in front of a loud and cheering crowd.
– It’s a really big thing to experience this together with my team, says match MVP Vilgot Carrick.
It wasn’t until the 20th minute that Täby managed to take a small but important lead. With three quick goals in a row, they took control of the match. Zagreb tried to fight back, but Täby stayed strong and won 15–11.
– Our fighting spirit and love for the game helped us win, says Carrick.
Täby Handboll showed great team spirit and steady performances throughout the whole tournament. With solid defence and a clear team mindset, they reached the final and held it together when it mattered the most.
– We’re going to celebrate by jumping in the fountain, says Carrick.
