Önnered were behind at halftime, still won big in the B16 final
Önnereds HK turned a halftime deficit into a clear win in the Boys 16 final against GOG. – It was a bit slow at the start, but in the last ten minutes of the second half we did it together, says Frank Arvidsson.

The final at Heden Fristad Arena 2 started with intensity and nerves. Önnereds HK scored 1–0 almost straight after the throw-off and set the tone for a close first half. The game went back and forth, but GOG slowly took control and went into the break with an 8–5 lead.
– It was a bit slow at the start, but in the last ten minutes of the second half we did it together. In the end, we won by eight goals, it’s so good, says Frank Arvidsson.
But everything changed in the second half. At 12–12, Önnereds goalkeeper Karls Lunden Svensgaard stepped up and shut things down. With several key saves in a row, he lifted the whole team, and ÖHK took their chance. A few quick goals gave them a strong lead. GOG couldn’t respond – and the final minutes became calm and controlled. Önnered played smart all the way to the final whistle and secured a clear 21–13 win.
– It feels amazing, that’s all I can say, says Frank Arvidsson.
The tournament has been a highlight for Önnereds HK, both in sport and as an experience. Besides winning the final, the week brought tough opponents, close games and many memories shared as a team.
– It’s been great to be here, playing lots of good matches and facing tough teams, says Frank Arvidsson.
