Trafford Handball Club is back at Partille Cup
The English team played their first match at Heden this morning.
Trafford Handball Club from Manchester is back at Partille Cup this year! Unfortunately for the Englishmen, they suffered defeat in their opening match this morning. Despite the result, the Trafford player Zinedine Khan keeps his head high.
- We feel confident ahead of our next game, says Zinedine Khan.
It was a tough opening fixture for Trafford Handball Club in the opening game in their first match in the B16 category against the Norwegian side Ull/Kisa. They lost the game 22-6.
- We were a bit rusty in this game and we got to get used to the high tempo in this tournament. The passes were not good enough, so we need to improve on our passes in front of the next match., says Zinedine.
Trafford will play their next match in the B16 category against the Swedish side HK Aranäs at Kviberg 5 at 13:50 tomorrow.
- If only we improve our passing and play more as a team, we are confident that we could reach some good results over the course of the tournament, says Khan.
The Manchester team arrived in Gothenburg on Sunday and Zinedine Khan has gained a good first impression of the city.
- It is a very nice country, and the whole team has enjoyed the trip so far.
Do you have any plans in front of the week?
- I have heard that there is an amusement park here in Gothenburg, so hopefully we could go there, says Khan.
