TuS Felde G16s are looking forward to experiencing Partille Cup for the first time

The German team is a newcomer at Partille Cup

German side TuS Felde G16 arrive for their first showing at Partille Cup in matching t-shirts and a curious spirit.

The Stena Line terminal in Majorna transitions from complete silence to filling up with excited buzzing and the sound of bags being dragged in a matter of minutes. Several teams from Germany arrive at the port early on Monday morning, and a team with their homemade t-shirts stands out among the masses. They’re sporting white t-shirts with the outline of Sweden, filled in by a Swedish flag, and the team name in large letters.

They turn out to be TuS Felde’s G16 team, based outside of Kiel. Despite not having very far to travel, it is the first time competing at the tournament for this team.

Why did you choose to come to Partille Cup?
- Because we heard that Partille Cup is the largest youth tournament in the world and we decided to go there because we need to experience what’s happening here, says Roman Borowski, who is accompanying the team.

What are you most looking forward to this week?
- We’re looking forward to all the teams from all over Europe and all over the world, and yeah we’re just curious to get to know Gothenburg as well, he continues.

After arriving at their designated school, the team will have the whole day to explore the city. TuS Felde will play their first game against HK Landsås at 09:10 am at Heden 10.
