Ull/Kisa IL won gold, despite tough competition
Norwegian Ull/Kisa IL 1 won gold in the final, G16, match against the previously unbeaten Furesø Håndbold.

Despite Danish Furesø Håndbold's flawless history in the tournament, Ull/Kisa IL quickly took control of the game and managed to maintain a stable lead. Furesø Håndbold made a brave attempt, but despite reducing the deficit by several goals, it was not enough to win the match, which ended 12-5. The match's MVP, Mikaela Andersen, is satisfied with the team's performance.
– It feels really good! We just kept pushing and tried to do our best, so it feels great that it paid off, says Andersen.
The team has grown closer during the tournament, and Mikaela Andersen believes that it is their ability to trust themselves and each other that has allowed them to go so far in the competition.
– One should do what feels best for oneself and the team, and then just go for it, says Andersen.
Finally, she has just one message to send to her teammates after the grand victory.
- Well done, girls! shouts Mikaela Andersen at the award ceremony at Fristad Arena.
