Winners of the Fair Play Trophy 2025

Four teams and players have been awarded this year’s Fair Play Trophy – an honor that celebrates respect, sportsmanship, and great team spirit during Partille World Cup.

Every year during Partille World Cup, the Fair Play Trophy is awarded – a prize that highlights players and teams who demonstrate exceptional sportsmanship, respect, and positive behavior both on and off the court. This year, four well-deserving winners received the award.

Flint Tønsberg 2 (B16)
The Norwegian team showed great heart in a match against a younger and less experienced opponent. Instead of dominating the game, they chose to adapt their play, encourage their opponents, and create opportunities for them to succeed. One of the referees described it as a powerful and emotional moment.
– This was the first match I’ve ever refereed that moved me to tears, he said.

TIK Håndbold 1 (G14)
After a close match where a referee’s decision went against them, players and coaches from TIK Håndbold responded with smiles and thumbs up – without any complaints. A beautiful example of how Fair Play can shine through even in moments of adversity.

Adam Ziani, HK Varberg (B15)
Adam was nominated by an opposing team for his positive attitude and respectful behavior on the court. He plays with intensity but always fairly and serves as a role model for teammates, opponents, and referees alike.

Lars Dale Åsheim, Tertnes IF (B15)
In one match, Lars Dale Åsheim chose to correct a referee decision that could have benefited his own team – a clear act of honesty and fair play. Throughout the tournament, he has shown respect, helped other players up, and spread positive energy on the court.
– It feels great to win the Fair Play Trophy – it’s important to respect everyone on the court, says Lars Dale Åsheim proudly.
