Around 60 Danish teams arrived by ferry

Today is the big arrival day. Around 60 Partille Cup teams from Denmark arrived to the Stena Terminal in Gothenburg by ferry this afternoon.

Denmark is the third biggest nation in Partille Cup, with 158 teams. Just Sweden (567) and Norway (212) are bigger nations in the tournament. Around 60 of the Danish teams arrived to the Stena Terminal in Gothenburg on Monday afternoon.

We met a lot of excited Danish players and coaches when we visited the terminal. Skanderborg’s G16 team is one of the happy teams.
– It’s so much fun to come and play in Partille Cup. We’re very excited to be here. We’re looking forward to play many other teams from other countries, says the player Olivia Thomsen.
She and her teammates enjoyed the ferry trip from Denmark to Sweden.
– It was a good feeling on the ferry. Everyone is happy to be here now, she says.

Olivia thinks that they make good performances as a team during the Partille Cup week.
– Wo hope to go as far as possible. We will try our best to do that, says the 16-year-old.

A couple of teenagers from the classic Partille Cup club Hjortshöj-Egaa IF were very, very happy when they arrived to Gothenburg.
– We absolutely love Partille Cup. It’s definitely our favourite tournament, they say.
