Are you one of our new star referees?

Do you want to challenge yourself, develop your refereeing skills and participate in the world's largest youth handball tournament? Then you should apply for the Partille Cup. We need you!

Criteria

To be a referee during the Partille Cup, you must be 16 years old, authorized and approved referee in one of your country's Handball Associations. You must have passed your district's established requirements for 2025.

Experience

You should have a few years of experience in refereeing handball, preferably at district level.

Referee meeting

Everyone who is a referee during the Partille Cup must be present at the obligatory referee meeting that takes place the day before the tournament starts.

Referee payment

In addition to the payment that is paid depending on the number of matches you have, we also offer free accommodation, education, experience and meals. More information can be found in the referee agreements.

FAQ

: Partille Cup is played 30th June -5 July.
30th of June is the big arrival day and the tournament starts 1st of July
: Everyone who is selected to referee the Partille Cup starts with the obligatory referee meeting which is on the day before the matches start, 30th June. After that, most of the games you ref is Tuesday through Friday. On Friday and Saturday, the number of matches is limited as there are finals. Final referees are selected during the Partille Cup week.
: To be allowed to referee during the Partille Cup, you must be 16 years old, authorized and approved in one of the your country's Handball Associations. You must have passed your district's established requirements for 2025.
You should have a few years of experience in refereeing handball, preferably at the district level.
: Everyone who gets selected to be a referee at Partille Cup will mostly be a referee from Tuesday to Friday. On the Saturday, there is a limited number of matches. We strive to let every referee get six to eight matches a day and two matches consecutive.
