Danish dynamite decided the B16 final

GOG’s Danish dynamite hit hardest when they beat Mejdal-Halgaard 1 after a tight match in the B16 final. – We have friendship and togetherness that help us get through the whole match, says Troels Voetmann.

It was two tough and physical teams who met in the B16 final, where Mejdal-Halgaard 1 scored the first goals, but two strong teams faced each other and it was completely level at half-time.

– We needed to raise the intensity for the second half if we were going to break them. Our coaches showed us the plan and we kept the tempo high, says match MVP Troels Voetmann.

After the break, the battle continued at the same high pace, but GOG were more effective in their attacking play and gradually took control of the match. Mejdal-Halgaard 1 tried in vain to catch up but could not make it all the way as GOG held firm in defence.

In the end, two goals separated the teams when the final whistle blew, and GOG lifted the trophy after a strong finish to the final score 15-13.

– We’re going back home now and our B18 team also won, so we might celebrate with them, concludes a happy Troels Voetmann.

The winning team in the Partille World Cup also gets free participation in the Partille World Cup in Cairo from 31 March to 3 April 2027.
