Rödekro-Aabenraa Håndbold emerged as victorious after a thrilling encounter
In the G18 category, a Danish derby took place on Friday morning. Rödekro-Aabenraa Håndbold emerged victorious and now await the round of 16.

The playoffs in the Partille World Cup 2024 are in full swing. In the round of 32 of the G18 category, a Danish derby was played on Heden 12, where Skive FH faced Rödekro-Aabenraa Håndbold. The latter won the match 19-18 after a thrilling contest. Anna Nissen scored the decisive goal.
– I think the team performed very well and I am especially proud that we never gave up and finally managed to win, says Anna Nissen.
The joy after the final whistle was palpable among the winning team:
– My friends and I were very happy. It was a mix of relief and pride, says Anna Nissen.
This is Anna's first time participating in the Partille World Cup. She has enjoyed the week:
– It has been a very good week. I am glad that I finally get to come here and experience it and hope that I can return sometime in the future, she says.
For the girls in Rödekro-Aabenraa Håndbold, it's now about recharging their batteries for the next match.
– We will eat something and just take it easy until then, says Anna.
What are your goals for the rest of the day?
– We will try to go as far as we can, and so far we have won every match, so I think we can do it, she says.
Another Danish derby awaits Anna Nissen and her teammates in the round of 16, when they take on Sportsefterskolen Sine at 17:55 on Heden 10 - Hummel.
