European Open Championship will be back at Partille Cup

We are very happy and proud to annouce that the national tournament, European Open Championship, will be a part of Partille Cup and Gothenburg in 2022.

Earlier this week it was finalized that European Open Championship (EOC) again will be arranged by Partille Cup. July 4-8th 2022, you can watch the best national teams in Europe compete against each other in this prestigious tournament. In 2022 girls 16 years (W16) will play and the year after (2023) the tournament will be for boys 17 years (M17).

This is the first national team gathering for the age group and a great way for the teams to see where they stay against each other.

European Open is a perfect tournament for Partille Cup. The participants will experience a city filled with handballers and thousands of players from all over the world. Take the opportunity to watch one of the group stage matches that will be played at Valhalla Sporthall and Lundenhallen. The final will be played on Friday, July 8th, at Scandinavium in front of thousands of spectators.

The tournament arranges in collaboration with the European (EHF) and Swedish (SHF) handball federations.

EHF will send out the invitations to the national associations.
