French side Dunkerque HB Grand Littoral won the B11 final

They won the B11 category.

In the B11 category final, the French team Dunkerque HB Grand Littoral triumphed. Now, they look forward to tonight’s celebrations. - We're going to eat ice cream and play football, says Elie Devos, MVP of the final.

On a rainy Fristad Arena 2, the final was played between French Dunkerque HB Grand Littoral and Swedish Lugi HF. The crowd was energized, with everything from French flags to megaphones decorated with Lugi colors visible in the stands.

It was an evenly matched start. After Valter Victorin opened the scoring for the French team, there was a period where the teams exchanged goals.

After a strong finish to the first half, the advantage was French, and Dunkerque HB Grand Littoral had a 9-5 lead.

The weather affected the match; it was clear to see how players sometimes struggled to grip the rain-soaked ball.
- It was difficult to play the match because the ball was very slippery and hard to shoot with power. But it was the same for both teams, so I can’t complain, says Elie Devos, a player for the French team.

Lugi made a valiant attempt to get back into the match, but it was too little, too late. The final score was 13-10 in favor of the French, and Dunkerque HB Grand Littoral were the champions in the B11 category.
- It feels absolutely fantastic. From the start, we felt we had a good chance to go far, so it feels great that we made it all the way, says Elie Devos.

It was an emotional celebration for the French winners as they received the trophy and all the love from their supporters.

Elie was named MVP of the final after the match.
- It’s an honor. I still find it hard to believe that I’ve won it, he says.
