Gold to HUK Håndbold after a close final
HUK Håndbold from Denmark faced Kärra HF 1 from Sweden in the B12 final, where the match remained close for a long time. After an intense showdown with a decisive finish, HUK Håndbold emerged victorious with a score of 16-14. – It feels really good. This week has been a lot of fun. We fought all the way to the end, says MVP Elias Seifert Andreasen.
The final began at a high pace with both teams closely matched in scoring from the start. Both HUK Håndbold and Kärra HF 1 showcased effective attacking play and organized defense early on, preventing either team from gaining a clear advantage.
In the first part of the match, the play remained balanced as the teams exchanged goals. However, HUK Håndbold gradually established a slight grip on the game through stable finishing play. Kärra HF 1 kept themselves in the game by responding with quick attacks and strong defense.
In the second half, the battle continued at the same even pace as Kärra HF 1 worked their way closer. Towards the end of the match, however, HUK Håndbold increased their tempo and managed to hold off during the crucial moments. This was enough to secure a victory with a score of 16-14 and gold in the B12 category.
After the match, Elias Seifert Andreasen of HUK Håndbold was named MVP. He summarized the victory as follows:
