"Handball for everyone" was a great success at Heden Arena

IK Sävehof, HK Aranäs, and Önnereds HK assembled squads comprised of players of different ages and with varying functional abilities who competed against each other.

The handball celebration intensified at Heden Arena during Thursday afternoon as the matches in "Handball for All" were decided.
– It was pure joy, says Sävehof leader Camilla Andersson.

When the opening match between IK Sävehof and Önnereds HK got underway, the stands at Heden Arena were packed. The spectators were then treated to three handball matches brimming with spectacular goals, brilliant saves, and, above all, an overwhelming enthusiasm for the sport.

Önnereds' Henrik "Henke" Olsson, 40, had a standout performance in the opening match. He remembers one particular moment very well.
– I scored right in the top corner from halfway across the court. Now we're going to win the whole thing, he says with a twinkle in his eye.

Sävehof's Emil Hvenfeldt, 20, was also pleased after the opening match.
– It was great fun to play in front of the crowd. I love playing handball, and I particularly enjoy playing on the line. The best part was scoring goals.

Aranäs player Wilmer Fritzen, also 20, had a hard time picking out a favorite memory from the match against Sävehof.
– My favorite moment from the match was everything, he says, stifling a bubbling laughter.
