All-Danish Final Ends in Gold for BK Ydun
At Fristad Arena, the final match of the 2026 Partille World Cup took place—an all-Danish showdown in the B15 category. It was a tightly contested affair, with BK Ydun edging out their opponents to claim the title.
Thisted IK opened the scoring and held the upper hand in the early stages of the match. As the game progressed, however, BK Ydun 1 grew into the contest and took a 7–5 lead into halftime.
The second half was closely contested, but BK Ydun remained in front throughout and secured the B15 title. The final score was 17–11.
Ari Durhuus of BK Ydun was named the final's MVP.
– It feels really amazing. It was a tight match, but I'm happy we won in the end, he said.
BK Ydun were backed by supporters from another of the club's teams competing at the Partille World Cup. Speaking on the court after the match, Durhuus had a clear message for the fans.
– I fucking love you!
As winners of the Partille World Cup, BK Ydun also receive free entry to the Partille World Cup in Cairo, taking place from 31 March to 3 April 2027.
