Here are the teams participating in European Open
The popular tournament for youth national teams, European Open, is finally back. This summer seventeen nations will participate with their girls team.
The European Open, which is organized by Partille Cup in collaboration with the Swedish and the European Handboll Federation, is usually a highlight during the Partille Cup week. Now it is three years since Partille Cup was arranged and this summer the tournament and thus European Open make a long-awaited comeback.
Some of the world's best youth national teams participates at European Open. Every two years the tournament is arranged for boys and every other year for girls, in 2022 it's the girls' turn and 17 nations will participate.
The group stage matches start on the Monday at Valhalla Sporthall, where all group stage matches are played. On Friday, July 8th the finals is played at Scandinavium. Entrance to all matches is included for all participants with the Partille Cup Pass. Take the opportunity to see youth national team handball during the Partille Cup week, where tomorrow's stars will participate. Some of the world's best players today have participated in Partille Cup and made their national team debut during the European Open, what about Nora Mørk (NOR), Stine Bredal Oftedal (NOR), Isabelle Gulldén (SWE), Lois Abbingh (NED), Louise Burgaard (DEN), Jim Gottfridsson (SWE), Andreas Palicka (SWE), Nicklas Ekberg (SWE) och Uwe Weinhold (GER).
