Herkules dreams of a new title: "Second best thing that has happened in my life"

Two years ago, Herkules dreams of becoming historic champions in Partille World Cup came true.

The triumph went viral and resulted in a tattoo. Then as now, Alexandre "Zuza" Ribeiro coached Herkules during the tournament.
– The win in 2022 is the second best thing that has happened in my life, says "Zuza".

Ever since 1976, Brazilian teams have participated in the Partille World Cup, but it was not until two years ago that we had a Brazilian champion in the tournament. Herkules B15 team won Partille World Cup 2022 after a great victory over Täby Handboll 1 in the final. The win was so special that one of the coaches, Marcos Alexandre, chose to immortalize the moment in the form of a tattoo. Alexandre "Zuza" Ribeiro was part of the coaching staff then. He came to Partille World Cup for the first time back in 1995, then as a player, and came back as a coach for the first time in 2016. Since then, he has been involved in every edition of the world's biggest youth handball tournament.
– It is always exciting to come back to the Partille World Cup. Every time is a new experience. I feel so touched when I come back to the city of handball. It's incredible, says Alexandre "Zuza" Ribeiro.

He remembers the win two years ago with great joy.
– It is the second best thing that has happened in my life. The first is the birth of my children. When I started Herkules, we had six children playing and one ball. Now we can say that Hercules is the only South American club that has a trophy from Partille World Cup, says the coach proudly.
Herkules is here with four teams this year.
– We can not promise that we will win Partille World Cup again, but we will fight every second to succeed in it, says "Zuza".
