IK Sävehof is the club with the most registered teams in the tournament this year and competed today in the final of the Girls 12 category at Fristad Arena 2. Since the start of Partille World Cup, both IK Sävehof VU and Bording KFUM had been undefeated, now they met in the final. IK Sävehof VU opened the match with the first goal. Despite a Danish comeback, Sävehof held the lead throughout the first half.

When a rainy second half started, IK Sävehof VU remained in the lead. Despite being behind, a spirited Danish team entered the second half. The Danish Bording KFUM made a brave effort to win but unfortunately ended the tournament with a loss.

It was a rainy match with a slippery handball that concluded this final. The match ended with a convincing victory for the Gothenburg team IK Sävehof VU. They will celebrate their 15-6 win with a party and dinner together.
– It feels amazing to have won. We played a great match from the start, says Isabelle Albrechtson Apelgren.

We asked Isabelle what she thought was the reason her team won the entire Partille World Cup 2024.
– We fought as a team throughout the tournament. It means so much to us because this was the last time we played together as a team, she replies.

The Most Valuable Player of the match was awarded to the winning team's number 24, Isabelle Albrechtson Apelgren, who expressed her joy afterward.
– It feels incredible, she says with a big smile.
