Lörenskog HK putting in good performances both on and off the field

The Norwegians have come to Sweden with smiles on their faces and impressive handball

Lörenskog HK G16 has delivered great performances both on and off the field.
- We think it is very fun to be here, says Ole-Christian Braathen, traveling parent with Lörenskog HK.

On Tuesday morning the Norwegian side won their second match of the tournament, which means that they are unbeaten in Partille Cup 2023 so far.
- We played very well, and the result showed that, so I am happy, says Kamilla Braathen Ødegård, the Lörenskog goalkeeper.

This is the second year in a row that Kamilla is participating in Partille Cup. The adventure started well for her and her teammates.
- We enjoyed the first few days. We were here last year, so we were very excited to come here this year too. Also, the opening ceremony was great, she says.

What are your main goals with handball?
- First and foremost, I think it is very fun, and it brings great togetherness. Then I want to go far and hopefully become a professional player one day.

The players are not the only ones from Lörenskog that have performed well in the first couple of days. The parents to the Lörenskog players have also traveled to Gothenburg to support the team with their Löreskog-scarfs.
- We are very happy to get to support our team, but we focus to respect the opponents and the referee, says Ole-Christian Braathen, traveling parent for Lörenskog HK.

What is the best thing about Partille Cup in your opinion?
- I think the most important thing is the togetherness and the awareness, but also to enjoy the sport just as the youth does here during this big event, he says.
