Skanderborg Takes Command and Secures Gold in G15
Danish Skanderborg HB and Swedish Växjö HF faced off in the g15 final, where Skanderborg took an early lead. – It feels fantastic. We have had a great time this week and hope to play in the final here again next year, says MVP Vytaute Matijosaityte.
The final began at a high pace where Skanderborg HB quickly took the initiative through effective offensive play and an organized defense. Växjö HF attempted to respond and created several scoring opportunities, but struggled to halt the Danish team's attacks.
During the first half, Skanderborg continued to control the match and gradually built up a lead. Växjö fought to close the gap and made several strong defensive efforts, but Skanderborg managed to maintain the lead.
In the second half, Skanderborg HB maintained the same high level and never allowed Växjö HF to get close. The Danish team played steadily in the closing minutes and secured the victory with a score of 15-10.
– It feels very good and really exciting. We have had a lot of fun together during the week, and it's great to be back here. We hope to have the chance to play in the final again next year.
