Third Win in a Row for Täby Handboll

For the third year in a row, Täby Handboll wins, this time with a 13-7 victory against Torslanda HK 1 in the G14 category.

The second-to-last final of the day at Fristad Arena 2 was between two Swedish teams in Girls 14. This is the third time Täby Handboll has participated.
- It feels like there have been more people and we’ve been extra excited this year, says Maja Ross Skärvad after the match.

There was a high turnout of supporters for the second-to-last match at Fristad Arena 2. In the Girls 14 category, Torslanda HK 1 played against Täby Handboll. The crowd made a lot of noise whenever a goal was scored, with everything from horns to trumpets and screams.

In the first half, both sides fought hard, and it was impossible to predict who would end up as champions. Täby Handboll led during half-time with a score of 7-4.

For the third time, the Stockholm team Täby Handboll participated in the tournament. The second half of the game leaned more towards an obvious victory for the Stockholm team. Torslanda HK struggled to catch up, the wet ball made the match tougher than expected. The G14 victory ultimately went to Stockholm’s Täby Handboll.
- We were here last year and the year before, and we did very well then too, says player Maja Ross Skärvad shyly. It's three wins in a row now.
- We never want to lose. Now we’re going to celebrate with lots of joy, dancing, and singing, she continues, laughing, when asked about the importance of this year’s win.

One of the key players leading the team to victory was Maja Ross Skärvad. For her strong performance, she was awarded this year’s Most Valuable Player prize in the G14 category.
- It feels great, especially because it’s the Partille World Cup. I’m going to put the trophy on a shelf in my room, Maja concludes.
