However, TIK Håndbold responded swiftly, working their way back into the game, which leveled the playing field during the first half.

After Frederikshavn's strong start, TIK Håndbold grew into the final and found a better rhythm in both defense and attack. The teams remained on equal footing in terms of scoring, with neither team able to establish a significant advantage during the half. At halftime, the score was 4-4.
