72 Danish teams arrived with the same ferry: "We love Partille World Cup"

72 Danish teams and two German teams arrived on the same ferry at the Stena terminal in Gothenburg on Monday afternoon.

It was a bit of a Danish invasion where players and leaders poured in through the terminal. There were many smiles after the teams arrived in Gothenburg.

Aksel Raaby from Vorup FB has longed for Partille World Cup 2024.
– It feels very good to be here. It will be fun. I was here two years ago. I think it's good food and the tournament is a lot of fun as you meet other people. There are many teams and it's fun that so many different countries are participating with teams, says Aksel Raaby.
They had no problem keeping busy on the boat trip.
– It was quite a long trip, but it was good. There were things to do, so it wasn't boring.
He is sure they can do good things during the week.
– I think that we will win the whole tournament, says Aksel Raaby.

Hjortshöj Egaa IF has a long-standing tradition of participating in Partille World Cup.
– We love Partille World Cup. We have been here several years in a row. It's our favorite tournament. We love the fish burgers here and Sweden has very good candy. We love Bubs, says Frida Surland.

Olivia Mauritzen from AGF Aarhus is making her Partille World Cup debut this year and has only heard positive things about the tournament.
– It seems to be a very good and fun tournament. There was a very good atmosphere on the ferry, says Olivia Mauritzen.

She is excited to face teams from other countries.
– I am most looking forward to playing handball against a team from India, she says.

13-year-old Dane Frederikke Rosenkilde got a really good feeling when she participated last year.
– It's very fun to come here. I'm glad to be back. It's fun to see so many Danish people and that there are so many nations in the tournament. Gothenburg is a very fun city where there are many things to do, she says.

A total of 190 Danish teams participate in Partille World Cup this year. Only Sweden (600 teams) is a larger nation in the tournament.
