Avisorg – winner of Best Costume 2025
Avisorg from France won Best Costume 2025 during the Opening Ceremony at Scandinavium. Their mix of tradition, fashion and the tricolour stood out from hundreds of teams. – The costume represents French stereotypes, says Victoria Iraci.

Blue jeans, white shirts and red braces with berets created a clean, instantly readable identity. The palette signalled pride while the styling kept it modern. That clarity convinced the jury.
– Blue jeans, white shirt and red beret — the idea was to combine modernity and tradition to dress our young teenagers, says Iraci.
The concept was shaped with the players, who pushed for bold colours and recognisable details.
– Our young players did choose the colours, and for the accessories, they come from stereotypes deeply rooted in our culture, says Iraci.
The award mattered beyond the on-stage moment. It validated weeks of work and gave the club a story to take home. Above all, it fuelled ambition to return.
– It gives extra motivation for the teams and coaches to register again and relive the Partille World Cup experience in the coming year, she says.
On the court, the highlight was the meeting with a Danish team, a match lost but remembered for quality and respect. The performance echoed the clarity of the outfit’s message: confident and assured.
– We lost, but it was a fantastic game because of the beauty of the play, the good spirit, and the great connection between the two teams. There was no need to speak each other’s language—the communication happened through the ball. It was beautiful play, two great teams, happy players, which made it an incredible match, says Iraci.
For Avisorg, Best Costume 2025 is more than a trophy; it is a statement of identity and teamwork. The victory capped their Gothenburg week and set a higher bar for next year. It also gives the club a platform to defend their title in Gothenburg.
– Winning this prize is one more victory in Partille World Cup 2025, says Iraci.
