Celebrate the Game ensures everyone has a good time during Partille Cup
Last year, Partille Cup started the fair play project Celebrate the Game - with the goal of creating an even better environment during the tournament.
Celebrate The Game is our own fair play project. With the help of that, we can ensure that everyone involved is comfortable and well during the tournament week.
Celebrate the Game is a fair play project that highlights, and celebrates, all that good sport has to offer. Partille Cup runs the project to create a better environment for everyone, both on and off the pitch. The idea is that the players, coaches, parents, referees, supporters and the Partille Cup organization should help remind each other to respect and to think about how we behave towards each other. Together, we can in this way create an even better atmosphere on and around our pitches.
Celebrate The Game is divided into four categories: This is youth handball, The referees are human, The coaches are volunteers and Parents cheer for everyone. You can read more about each category HERE. Match delegates, referee observers and Crew Members are present around the pitches and ensure matches are played in a friendly spirit, in line with the Celebrate the Games fair play objectives.
The teams that excel in a fair play manner also have the chance to win prizes. The Fair Play Trophy is awarded to a number of teams (there is no limit) during Partille Cup. During the week, our referees and match delegates nominate teams for this award. To be nominated, the team must have shown evidence of good behavior during the tournament. During the entire tournament, players and leaders must have acted in an exemplary manner towards opponents as well as referees and other officials. The team's fans must also have contributed in a positive way to spreading a good atmosphere around the team and their matches. Last year, HC Eynatten-Raeren's (Belgium) B12 team and Torslanda HK's B16 team received the Fair Play Trophy.
