IK Sävehof defeats Egyptian Gezira Club in the G10 Final

IK Sävehof VF2 defeated Gezira Club with 12-4.

The first match in the Partille World Cup was played in class G10 between IK Sävehof VF2 from Sweden and Gezira Club from Egypt. 
– It is important not to stress when playing in the final, says Zoey Jaroensuks.

Sävehof had a strong start to the match with a goal and a save which gave them a two goal lead. Gezira Club then entered the match well with a tough defense and then scored their first goal in the match. Just before half-time, Sävehof scored two goals, one of which was a penalty kick. Before the second half, it was 5-1 and Gezira Club started strongly with their second goal of the match, while Sävehof scored a crossbar hit. Sävehof then countered strongly with two goals giving them a 6-2 lead. Both teams continued to play well and within a few minutes Sävehof scored two more goals. Towards the end of the match, Gezira Club increased the tempo and scored two more goals, but it was not enough to win. Sävehof won the final with 12-4.

Number 71 in Sävehof, Zoey Jaroensuks, was named player of the match.
- It feels good to have been named player of the match, says Zoey. She continues:
- I prepared for the final with good food and sleep. Then I listened music. It is important not to stress when playing finals. You have to take it easy so you don't lose the ball when you have to shoot or pass, says Zoey Jaroensuks.
