Minihandball at Heden
The minihandball games, played by children aged 8-9, took place on Monday at Heden.
On Monday, between 12 and 18, minihandball was played at a sunny Heden in central Gothenburg. Children aged 8-9 years participated in a tournament with a total of 100 teams from Gothenburg and the surrounding area.
With the whistle blowing at 12 o'clock, teams from around Gothenburg began their first matches in this year's minihandball tournament. The children, who are 8-9 years old, looked lively and happy throughout the matches. Heden was filled with parents, coaches, and spectators cheering for all the children.
From the sidelines, Kärra HF girls' 8 coach Johan Carlsson could be heard cheering for his team in the match between Kärra HF and IK Sävehof. He was an enthusiastic and excited coach when we spoke to him after the final whistle. When asked how the girls felt about the day, he said:
"They think this is great fun, and of course it is when you can score goals and everyone is here cheering and clapping."
One thing that cannot go unmentioned is the weather today. Coach Johan Carlsson was especially pleased with what Gothenburg had to offer: sun and 18 degrees.
After each team has played 4 matches of 12 minutes each, all participating teams will be declared winners in the minihandball tournament at Heden.
