Nominate for the Fair Play Trophy

Now it's time to nominate the team, leader, or player that you think should win the Fair Play Trophy!

Partille World Cup strives to be a place where young people can create lifelong memories and develop in a safe environment. Through the initiative Celebrate the Game, we strive to create a better environment for everyone, on and off the field. To increase pride among the participants, we will appoint four Fair Play Trophy winners this year. By scanning the QR codes around the area, participants, leaders, referees, and officials can nominate individuals or teams they believe deserve the award. Martin Laanemets, competition manager for Partille World Cup, highlights all the good examples that exist during the tournament week and encourages everyone to nominate to Fair Play.
– We see a lot of positive behavior on the fields and hear a lot about how fair things are overall. Therefore, it is very important for those out there to submit nominations and highlight all the great examples of fair play.
This year, four Fair Play trophies will be awarded, and the winners can be both individual players and teams that have demonstrated good conduct during the tournament.
– Handball is not just about winning; it can be everything from a pat on the back for someone in need, to acting sportsmanlike or simply being a decent human being and a good representative of their team, says competition leader Martin Laanemets.
The award ceremony will take place on Friday, July 2nd at 6:00 PM at Fristad Arena in Heden.
