A tough match awaits for Njård IL

The Norwegian team Njård IL is very happy to be here and play against all the international teams.

At 8:35 on Wednesday morning, the first matches at Fristad Arena at Heden started. Danish, Norwegian, Belgian, German, and Swedish teams were present at the arena early this morning. Behind pitch 4, the Norwegian team Njård IL was getting ready for their match starting at 9:10.

It's a cloudy day that Gothenburg has woken up to, but the atmosphere is brilliant at Heden. One of the teams preparing for the second day of the Partille World Cup is Njård IL from Oslo. The game between Njård IL and IF Stjernen from Denmark was set to be particularly exciting as the teams are in place 3 and 4 in their group, 5 Girls 18.

Unfortunately, it ended with a loss for the Norwegian team. Despite this, we met a satisfied player, Najma Jamal Hasan from Njård IL, after the match.

“I’m happy to play against other countries; it’s very international, and I get to see how other countries play, what tricks they have, and so on,” Najma commented after the match.

Tomorrow, a tough match awaits against the group leaders, Slovenian team RK Krim Mercator, who are here to win gold. Read more about their goals HERE. Njård IL and Najma will be preparing for the match with a lot of activities.

“We’re going to Liseberg today; it’s going to be a lot of fun. And then I might go shopping and maybe relax at the hotel, eat some good food at the school later”, she continued.

The match will be played tomorrow, Thursday, at Överåsvallen at 12:05.
