Partille World Cup
Ikast KFUM won a well-deserved gold medal in the final
Danish Ikast KFUM won the Boys 10 final against a brave Kärra HF 1 at Partille World Cup, in a match where the Danes took control early and kept their grip throughout the game.
Ikast KFUM continued their strong form from the tournament and made a flying start to the final, going up by six goals before Kärra HF 1 scored their first goal. The Danish side took early control and put clear pressure on the Swedish team, who struggled to find their finishing in the opening stages of the match.
– They were good, but we played as a team and fought for each other all the way, says match MVP Vito Straede.
Kärra HF 1 did work their way into the game and showed more resistance after the difficult start. They also managed to score a few goals, but were never really able to close the gap as the Danish lead stayed steady throughout the match.
Ikast KFUM kept control for the whole final and eventually secured the victory after a strong performance that crowned an unbeaten tournament for the Danish side.
– Now I’m going to celebrate with the team, says Vito Straede.
The winning team at Partille World Cup will also receive free entry to Partille World Cup in Cairo from 31 March to 3 April 2027.
