Sävehof Maintained the Lead and Claimed the Gold in G18
IK Sävehof from Sweden faced Ull/Kisa IL 1 from Norway in the G18 final, where Sävehof took command right from the start. The Swedish team maintained the lead throughout the match and won with a score of 19-13. – It feels especially great that things are going so well with a new team, says MVP Nora Linder.
The final began at a fast pace where IK Sävehof quickly took the lead through effective offensive play and solid defense. Ull/Kisa IL tried to respond and created several goal-scoring opportunities, but Sävehof managed to maintain control of the match during the first half.
After the break, Sävehof continued to control the game and maintained a steady pace. The team capitalized on their scoring chances while the defense limited the Norwegian attacks. Ull/Kisa fought to narrow the gap but never got close enough.
During the final stages of the match, Sävehof continued to play disciplined and never allowed the opponents to threaten their lead. When the final whistle blew, the score was 19-13 on the scoreboard, and IK Sävehof could celebrate the gold in the G18 class.
