Önnereds HK 3 came to the final unbeaten, but IK Sävehof 1 were simply too strong. – We’ve been looking forward to this all year, and now we’re standing here as winners, it feels unreal, says Isabelle Apelgren Albrechtson.
Önnereds HK 1 claimed the B18 title after a strong performance in the final against IK Sävehof 1. In front of a packed crowd at Fristad Arena 2, Önnered pulled ahead and secured the victory with a score of 19–17. - It feels great to win, I’m relieved! says Milo Knaapinen.
After a nail-biter in the last minute, the Faroe Islands' H71 1 could declare themselves the winners of the G11 final against Danish TIK Håndbold.
Danish VRI impressed throughout the tournament and reached the final of the G12 series. At Fristad Arena 2, they faced their fellow countrymen BK Ydun in the final and secured the victory with a 12-9 win. - It feels incredible and we are so happy, says Mille Helbo Holmboe.
Swedish team Täby Handboll grabbed the gold in the B12 final after a tough goal-for-goal battle against Croatian side RK Zagreb. – It’s a really big thing to experience this together with my team, says match MVP Vilgot Carrick.
Kungälvs HK faced IK Sävehof in the final match. After a close first half, the score was tied at 8–8. In the second half, Kungälvs HK took control and won 21–17. “It feels completely unreal; it’s incredible to stand here as winners,” says the team’s MVP Freja Broman.
It was a real thriller when H71 1 from the Faroe Islands and Herning FH 1 from Denmark met in the B11 category. After a match where both teams gave everything, it took a golden goal to separate them. – We gave it all, but it was so close, both teams could have won, says Nor Witt Kempel.
Undefeated IK Sävehof wins Saturday’s B21 final, a heated Gothenburg derby against fellow Swedish team Torslanda HK. – It feels really great, we’ve truly fought hard through this, says match MVP Jakob Prytz.
SC Markranstädt finishes undefeated in the Partille World Cup and wins the G10 final with a score of 10-8 against Önnereds HK.
